AME Memorial Baptist Church was founded by families who believed faith and community could transform Selma. For more than a century we have gathered on Broad Street to pray, sing, and serve.
Through the civil rights era and decades since, this congregation has remained a place of refuge, protest, and praise—where every soul seeking grace is welcome.
